With my Cuban Pirate!
You know your baby is Cuban when he is born with a tan line. This is Salvador at Gold Fork Hot Springs. He is part Cuban, part pirate and a whole lotta tan belly!
It’s springtime in the Idaho high-country! The sun quickly melts the snow and heralds people to bare their feet outside – perhaps the perfect time to hot spring it!
We visited Gold Fork yesterday. Gold Fork Hot Springs is located 45 minutes south of the Shore Lodge, outside of Donnelly, Idaho. There are six pools; ranging in temperatures from hot-as-tamales to cool-as-cucumbers. We planned for a day at the spa - soaking in the warm mineral water, exfoliating our toes and belly with the sand, and working on our tan.
We met up with a couple of Sal’s best buds; Gus and Molly. The three of them are each very good at chillin’, but when they get together they do it like villian’zzz. They are smooth and crafty at looting cool pool toys; like the noodle and the boogie board – perfect for a reckless joy ride in the high seas. They can blow bubbles and sink ships like no other sea dog. And they can attack a spa retreat with belly bombs faster than you can call, “Mayday.”
After our 1-hour-and-30-minute tour of Idaho’s high seas at Gold Fork, we dropped the sail, pointed our vessel home to McCall and caught some zzz’s in the backseat.
